Ultra rare wall-hung, veneered sideboards designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast in the 60s. To my knowledge, the only one for sale in this version in the world! All cupboard doors have Vodder’s usual, elegant recessed handles. Three of the four elements are marked with “Sibast” on the inside – the element with the drawers is not. There are two base cabinets and two upper cabinets that can also be combined with each other – so two base cabinets next to each other create a fabulous wall sideboard with a length of 300 cm. The upper cabinets can also be combined in this way and, of course, hung individually at the bottom. The wall hanging is hidden using metal brackets that are attached inside the sideboards. The condition of all parts is worthy of restoration – however, I would like to leave the patina as is and sell it in as-found condition. I offer different combinations of sideboards – different offers can of course also be combined and exchanged.
This combination (C) includes a wall-hung base cabinet (B) with three shelves and blind doors (dimensions: approx. 150 x 55 x 47 cm WxHxD) as well as the matching upper cabinet with two shelves and two sliding doors (dimensions: approx. 150 x 55 x 35 cm WxHxD).
Condition: see pictures, used, vintage, dirt, scratches and missing spots in the wood, some veneer damage/flaking, some fading of the veneer, sliding door fixation on the upper cabinet is currently still defective – will be repaired before sale, brackets for the upper cabinet’s insert boards are not original
