Set of 4 Early Thebes Stools by Liberty & Co. (attr.)

Diese vier “Thebes Hocker” wurden im frühen 20. Jahrhundert vermutlich produziert von Liberty & Co. (zugeschrieben). Der Hersteller hatte sich im Jahr 1884 das Design davon patentieren lassen und diese bis ca. 1919 gebaut. Das Interessante an den Hockern ist, dass weder Schrauben noch Kleber zum Einsatz kamen – die Holzteile werden ineinander gesteckt und die Sitzfläche besteht aus geknüpften Seilen.

Zustand: siehe Bilder, gebraucht, Vintage, teils wackelig, teils Flecken auf der Sitzfläche, ein Hocker mit einer verleimten Reparaturstelle

Set of four Thebes Stools by Liberty & Co. (attr.) made in the early 20th century (egyptian revival). These stools are attributed to Liberty & Co. – they patented the Thebes stool design in 1884 and continued to be retailed until about 1919. No screws or glue are used to build this stool.

Condition: see pictures, used, vintage, partly wobbly, partly stains on the seat, one stool with a glued repair area
