Pierre Chapo Set of Two Dining Chairs Model S11 in Cognac Leather

Ein Set bestehend aus zwei seltenen Stühlen entworfen vom französischen Designer Pierre Chapo. Das Model S11 wurde aus cognacfarbendem Leder und Ulmenholz gefertigt. Das Besondere an dem Stuhl ist eigentlich, dass er komplett ohne Schrauben aufgebaut wird. Das Holz ist ineinander gesteckt selbst tragend und der Lederbezug wird mit einer Schnur unter dem Sitz befestigt. Leider hat der Vorbesitzer rundum in die Stühle Schrauben eingedreht für mehr Stabilität. Desweiteren haben die Stühle eine geringere Sitzhöhe als andere S11 Modell – mit nur 41 cm Sitzhöhe fällt diese geringer aus.

A set of two rare chairs designed by French designer Pierre Chapo. The S11 model was made of cognac-colored leather and elm wood. The special thing about the chair is actually that it is assembled completely without screws. The wood is self-supporting and the leather upholstery is attached with a cord under the seat. Unfortunately, the previous owner used screws all around the chairs for more stability. Furthermore, the chairs have a lower seat height than other S11 models – the seat height is only 41 cm.
